Ok this is my CPMV guide:
What You Need:
An editor: Something that lets you edit a clip/s you have recorded with effects and such! List of editors : PowerDirector(good) Magix(good but hard to use) NewBluFX(great!) Ulead(Good!) Windows Movie Maker (horrible, don’t use unless for a very quick video!)
Screen Recorder: Something you can use to record your computer screen without a real camera! List of recorders: Camstasia(IDK?) Hypercam2 (good enough)
A song: Audio background for you videos. You can download songs from LimeWire or just import them to your computer from a dvd that contains your desired song. Note: LimeWire is free!
Lyrics: get lyrics to you desired song from google or www.metrolyrics.com
Tutorial:
1. Choose your destination file on your computer for all your clips by going to AVI file and clicking browse.. (If you are using Hypercam)
2. Log into club penguin.
3. Open both your editors and screen recorder.
4. Get the desired song’s lyrics.
5. Put the first lyrics into your penguins chatbar.
6. Record your penguin saying the lyrics while dancing or just sitting.
7. Go to your editor and click import file and choose the file you want and drag it into the storyboard or timeline.
8. Redo these steps until all of your lyrics of the song have been used in the video.
9. If there is a part in the song with no words then record your penguin dancing or showing an emote.
10. If your desired clip is too long then shorten it. If you are using the timeline drag the clip to the left until it is short enough. If it is too short then add two of the same clip but if that becomes to long then shorten it until it is short enough!
11.Put in effects that suit the clip eg. if it says ”you had a bad day” then put in the old movie effect. Some editors like PowerDirector have extras like titles and PIP’s (objects that move in the clip).Effects make the difference between a very boring video to a great one! You don’t need to put in much transitions. Transitions may ruin the timing but they are good also!
12. Then publish or produce your movie! put it into AVI file or MPEG1 those are the files that I know will be uploadable on Youtube. If you are using PowerDirector you can upload your video straight to Youtube!
